Women's Professional Ultimate Frisbee is Coming to Sea Foam Stadium This Weekend Minnesota's first & only professional ultimate team for women and gender-expansive athletes announces season opener.

St Paul, MN, April 24, 2024—Minnesota Strike of the Premier Ultimate League (PUL) announces the team's first game of the season against Portland Rising. 

When: April 27 at 5 pm CT

Where: Sea Foam Stadium in Saint Paul 

What: Ultimate Frisbee is one of the fastest-growing sports in the nation. The Minnesota Strike went undefeated in regular season play in 2023 and was the Midwest Division Champion. The April 27th season opener against the highly-anticipated match-up, Portland Rising, is expected to draw crowds of over 500. 

"This is Strike's third year as Minnesota's premier professional ultimate team for women and gender-expansive players, and we couldn't be more excited to watch the team dominate this season," said Minnesota Strike Head Coach Donnie Wood. "With team USA player Sarah Meckstroth and a Division Championship under our belt, we're confident the Strike will deliver."
