2023 Strike Tryouts

Thank you for your interest in being a part of Minnesota Strike 2023!

Please complete the application and pay the registration fee.  Applicants who fail to do so will not be considered for the roster.

This year, we will be using a sliding scale for registration fees. This model is attributed to Both/And and Resource Generation. 

Please review How to Place Yourself on Our Sliding Scale to determine which rate to pay.

• Redistribution Rate ($55) -  Redistribution means ‘paying your fair share’ for individuals who have had structural advantage and access to wealth. This rate helps to offset for individuals who pay the Solidarity Rate.
• Full Rate ($40) -  This rate represents the ‘true cost’ at which we would break even after paying our expenses.
• Solidarity Rate ($25) - This rate is an attempt to be in solidarity with individuals who are surviving. We recognize that in some cases this rate may still not be accessible, and we encourage anyone to get in touch if that is the case.

Tryout Dates & Locations

(OPEN) January 7, 2023 1-4pm: URW Sports Field Complex, 600 25th Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414

(CLOSED) January 21, 2023 1-4pm: URW Sports Field Complex, 600 25th Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414

(CLOSED) February 4, 2023 1-4pm: Brooklyn Park Sports Dome, 7300 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443

If you are unable to make the open tryout, you will automatically be invited to the next tryout date that you are able to make. Closed tryouts are invite-only. Cuts will be made between each round. You will receive information about moving on to the next round at least 3 days prior to the upcoming tryout date.
